Perpetual ID

Unique ID: is generated before the creation of Perpetual ID, is a 3 bytes long string generated using a secure random function from a 86 unicode characters long list, it will be used as unique identifier for the Perpetual Download process

Perpetual ID: Is a unique ID generated by the Algorand Blockchain the uniquely identifies your perpetual files and corresponds on an on-chain NFT containing all the metadata required to download the on-chain file.

Perpetual ID: is generated as soon as the perpetual file upload operation is confirmed by the user.

Perpetual ID metadata structure

1. Perpetual Name corresponds to NFT asset name parameter

2. Unique ID of perpetual file data described in this section > corresponds to NFT unit name parameter

3. Sha256 checksum of the original file wich will be used as integrity check after Perpetual File download, corresponds to metadata hash NFT parameter
